Lip Augmentation is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure which uses synthetic or biological products to safely enhance or augment the lips. The doctor may use a variety of products to achieve lip enhancement including Juvéderm, Restylane and other fillers.

Doctor Yagudin prefers to use Juvéderm for lip enhancement because it will last longer than other similar fillers and will give a natural, predictable result. Lip augmentation is widely sought out by models, actors, and of course women of all occupations for beautiful yet natural lip enhancement. The procedure generally takes about 30 minutes after the lips are gently numbed using lidocaine. As the lips may appear a bit swollen for 3-5 days, it is best to plan ahead before a special date or event.

Is anesthesia used during lip augmentation cosmetic procedure?
Yes, your lips will be numbed so that you feel no or minimal discomfort. Usually, a topical anesthetic is used, as well as lidocaine, to numb the lips.

How is the actual procedure performed?
Dr. Yagudin injects the desired treatment area, using a small needle, with fillers such as Juvederm or Restylane.
Is lip augmentation a painful procedure?
Some minor discomfort, stinging or throbbing can occur, numbing of the area beforehand will minimize any discomfort.
How much time will I need to take off from work after lip augmentation?
Patients can typically return to their normal activities immediately after the procedure.
What is the intended result from having lip augmentation?
-The intention is to give you the fuller lips you desire
-For some patients with very thin lips, the goal may be to have a more facially balanced appearance
-For some patients, very thick and sexy lips are the goal
-Some patients desire a defined edge to the lip or a return to more youthful looking lips.
