September Latisse consult special-$100
Get ready for a new innovation in lashes.
LATISSE™ (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution) 0.03% is the first and only prescription treatment approved by the FDA for inadequate or insufficient eyelashes, growing them longer, fuller and darker.
LATISSE™ works effectively. *
LATISSE™ makes lash growth possible because of its active ingredient: bimatoprost. Although the precise mechanism of action is not known, research suggests that the growth of eyelashes occurs by increasing the percent of hairs in, and the duration of, the anagen (or growth) phase. Lashes can grow longer, thicker and darker because bimatoprost can also prolong this growth phase.*
Clinically proven results you can see over time. *
LATISSE™ is easy to use, FDA approved and effective. It's a once-a-day treatment you apply topically to the base of your upper eyelashes. Patients in a clinical trial saw results gradually over time (starting at 4 weeks with full results after 16 weeks).
It's an innovation backed by research. *
While LATISSE™ is a new treatment in eyelash growth; it was developed through years of research by Allergan, a pharmaceutical leader with over 60 years of expertise in prescription eye care products.*
The first step is talking to your doctor
To find out if LATISSE™ is right for you, please consult Dr. Yagudin. While any doctor can prescribe LATISSE™, Dr. Yagudin may be likely to know more about this FDA-approved treatment.
Is LATISSE™ right for you? *
While most everyone may want the look of longer, fuller and darker lashes, not everyone may be right for the treatment. Your doctor will have to evaluate your medical history to determine if you are a good candidate. You should not use LATISSE™ if you have an active eye condition, including an eye infection, or have broken or irritated skin on your eyelid. And if you are using products for elevated intraocular pressure, you should only use LATISSE™ after consulting with your doctor.
What are the side effects? *
The most common side effects after using LATISSE™ solution are an itching sensation in the eyes and/or eye redness. This was reported in approximately 4% of patients. LATISSE™ solution may cause other less common side effects which typically occur on the skin close to where LATISSE™ is applied, or in the eyes. These include skin darkening, eye irritation, dryness of the eyes, and redness of the eyelids. You should tell your physician you are using LATISSE™ especially if you have a history of eye pressure problems. You should also tell anyone conducting an eye pressure screening that you are using LATISSE™. Although not reported in clinical studies, LATISSE™ use may also cause increased brown pigmentation of the colored part of the eye which is likely to be permanent.
Is LATISSE™ safe? *
LATISSE™ is an FDA-approved prescription treatment for hypotrichosis used to grow eyelashes, making them longer, thicker and darker. Hypotrichosis is another name for having inadequate or not enough eyelashes. The FDA reviewed clinical study results to verify the identity, potency, purity, and stability of the ingredients, and demonstrated that the product is safe and effective for its intended use if used as prescribed.
What is the cost of consultation for Latisse prescription?
It is $100 for a consultation which involves initial evaluation, taking pretreatment photos, review of your medical history, analysis of any possible contraindication, discussion of use and prescription of Latisse™ with 3 refills. Follow up visit for refill is $60.
Will my health insurance cover the cost of consultation or prescription of Latisse™?

How to Apply
A few simple steps can lead to great lashes
Like every routine, applying LATISSE™ (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution) 0.03% is all about consistency and precision. Once you follow the basic guidelines, the results will come gradually over time. To see the full effect of your eyelash transformation, take a "before" picture before you start the treatment, and keep taking pictures every 4 weeks to chart your progress.
Directions for nightly use:
Step 1 Before Applying
Before applying Latisse™ each night, ensure your face is clean, makeup and contact lenses are removed, and any other facial care products have already been applied.
Step 2 Prepare the Applicator
Remove and applicator from its tray. Then, holding sterile applicator horizontally, place one drop of Latisse™ solution on the area of the applicator closest to the tip but not on the tip.
Step 3 Apply to Skin using Applicator
Immediately draw the applicator carefully along the skin at the base of the upper eyelashes (where the eyelashes meet the skin) just as you would apply liquid eyeliner. This area should feel lightly moist without runoff
Step 4 Blot Excess
Blot any excess solution beyond the eyelid with a tissue.
Step 5 Dispose of Applicator
Dispose of the applicator after one use. Repeat for opposite eyelid, using a new sterile applicator to help minimize any potential for contamination from one eyelid to another.
